In between site visits in the Hudson Valley, the Albany area, Buffalo-Niagara and Westchester County, we manage to find time for some extracurricular activities!
Last week we met with reps from Rhinebeck Savings Bank. We found that they are very excited about the opportunity to help people in the Hudson Valley finance solar and wind projects for their homes. We hope we can match some of their residential loan products to our proposals. We are dedicated to working with regional lending institutions to keep the chain of decision-making quick and painless and, of course, to keep our dollars local.
This weekend our friends at WAMC Northeast Public Radio had their fundraising drive. We wish them luck and hope they were successful in achieving their goals.

As mentioned before, we find that many people are looking to include renewable energy as part of their warm weather home-improvements. In this vein we are happy to announce that we will be hosting a short home-improvement workshop on March 6th at the Saugerties Public Library. It will include information on how to acquire solar energy for your home as well as information on home energy audits. STAY TUNED for more information about that.
And, for some education on home energy audits down in Orange County, consider attending one of the following Home Energy Makeover informational workshops:
February 25th at the Wisner Public Library in Warwick, 10:30am
March 3rd at the Newburgh Free Library, 10:30am
March 8th at the Walden Village Hall, 6:30pm
