March 6th GREEN HOME IMPROVEMENT MINI-WORKSHOP

We have a lot of people this winter with HOME IMPROVEMENT on the mind. So, we decided to  mesh two of the greenest methods to home improvement under one roof:

RENEWABLE ENERGY

HOME ENERGY AUDITS

On March 6 at the Saugerties Public Library we will be having a mini-forum on how to improve the value of your home, save money, and live more sustainably.  From optimal placement of solar panels to information on aggressive government incentives to expected return on investment, Vanguard reps will be available to answer all of your questions.

Also in attendance will be Erika Maher, of Mid-Hudson Energy Smart Communities and (Courtney Strong, Inc), providing information on how to get a FREE ENERGY AUDIT for your home.  Energy audits are helpful because they suggest solutions that vary in scale and cost, allowing people to set their own pace towards energy efficiency.

The workshop will begin at 7pm and consist of 30 minutes of information followed by a question & answer and consultation period. To aid in the discussion, organic, fair-trade selections from Saugerties’ own Lucky Chocolates will be served as yet another kind of alternative fuel.

And, don’t forget that Saugerties has a thriving Main Street with shopping and dining before the event!

 See you there!
