As of November 2011, Vanguard Energy has been awarded the NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification. The NABCEP certification is the industry’s top recognition of expertise for an installer of solar panels (photovoltaic) and solar electric systems.
This certification is provided by the most highly respected and well-established national certification program in the country. It is widely recognized as a seal of excellence and only highly qualified installers receive the certification.
To achieve this certification Vanguard had to demonstrate exceptional knowledge and expertise in solar electric equipment and installation including rigorous exams covering subjects such as system design, electrical and job safety, the National Electrical Code, roofing and construction techniques, system commissioning, and troubleshooting. In addition to the exams, our installers were required to have proven real-world experience in all aspects of photovoltaic (solar) electric systems.
